One of the best perks of being a Stampin' Up demonstrator is to be a part of an amazing group of creative women and men from all around the United States and even the world. With the advantage of the internet , I am able to see and learn so much. I belong to a few groups of demonstrators, one being the Creating Success group, which was created by Ronda Wade, an incredible Michigan entrepreneur and $1,000,000 + Stampin' Up Platinum Level Demonstrator. As a part of her group I can join in their Catalog Swaps.
When a new catalog comes out, I sign up to make 20 of the same cards with new products from the current catalog. The best part of the swap is that we come away with 20 cards that we can use for our own customers as examples, to use in classes, to show around I send these to one amazing lady (Carol Hickman) with return postage. She sends me 20 amazing, original cards back! I will show you these cards later this week but in the meantime, I can now share the card that I made for the swap.
I decided to make a masculine card for the swap. I used the In Good Taste Suite, which you can see on page 123 of the 2020- 2021 Annual Catalog, The Suite includes the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set and the Tasteful Touches Dies, This set is so versatile! I also used the amazing In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, which is part of the In Good Taste Suite. I added Misty Moonlight cardstock and Misty Moonlight 1/4 " Ribbon .
Here are my directions to recreate this simple but elegant card. I love the sentiment "You are so special" because it can be used in so many different ways! I have used it for a birthday card and also for a thinking of you card for two different guys. Plus, you could change up the DSP and the colors so easily !

Masculine Swap Card
Supplies:
Stamps: Tasteful Touches
Cardstock/Paper: Misty Moonlight, Whisper White, Grey Granite, In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Stampin’ Pads: Night of Navy
Other: Tasteful Touches Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, Misty Moonlight 2020-2021 In Color ¼” ribbon, adhesive of your choice, Stampin’ Dimensionals, bone folder, paper trimmer
Cutting Instructions:
DSP: 3 ¾” X 5 “
Misty Moonlight (base): 5 ½” x 8 ½” , scored at 4 ¼”
Whisper White ( layer) 4” x 5 ¼”
Whisper White (small die layer)
Grey Granite (larger die layer)
Instructions:
Cut Misty Moonlight Base and score.
Cut Whisper White layer and DSP layer.
Adhere DSP TO Whisper White Layer. Wrap Misty Moonlight Trim around the Whisper White/ DSP layer once and knot to the left hand side. Adhere that piece to the front of the Misty Moonlight base.
Zip Grey Granite scrap through a Cut and Emboss machine with larger die.
Zip the Grey Granite die piece through the Cut and Emboss machine with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. Zip that sentiment through a Cut and Emboss machine with the smaller die.
Adhere Sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals onto Grey Granite piece.
Adhere both die pieces on top of ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
